6.4.8 Installing the Handset Battery Pack
Before installing batteries, refer to Dterm ® Cordless DECT Owner's Manual DTZ-8R-1 Specifications
and Battery Safety section. It is important to follow safety regulations when handling batteries.
1. Remove the battery cover by pressing the latch and sliding the cover down and off of the handset.

2. Install the two AAA batteries (AAA Ni-MH, 1.2 V, 900 mAh re-chargeable batteries), observing the
polarity orientation.
Batteries must be the same size and type (AAA Ni-MH, 1.2 V, 900 mAh
re- chargeable batteries. Use of other battery types may be hazardous
and will void the product warranty.
