4 Troubleshooting

4.1 The LCD display keeps flashing
NEIKO
The LCD display flashes when the battery is low. Remove the battery compartment
cover to replace the battery.

4.2 The LCD display has become dim and hard to read
The LCD display dims when the battery is low. Remove the battery compartment cover
and replace the battery.

4.3 There is no display on the LCD screen
When there is no display on the LCD screen, the battery could be depleted or the battery
compartment may require cleaning. Remove the battery compartment cover, clean the
compartment as necessary, and replace the battery.

4.4 When I slide the caliper out from zero and then slide back
to the origin, the reading does not return to zero
The digital caliper uses a sensor to record measurements when the slider is moving.
The maximum measurement speed is 60” per second. The measurement becomes
inaccurate when it exceeds that speed. We recommend using the thumb roller at a
moderate speed to take measurements for optimal results.
