  If the condenser temperature is too high on your NEW BRUNSWICK SCIENTIFIC Freezer, first check the air filter. It might be blocked; clean it following the instructions in Section 5.1.3. Also, the room temperature could be too high, so try to reduce it. If the fan has failed, you should call NBS Service department.

  If your NEW BRUNSWICK SCIENTIFIC Freezer displays a high condenser temperature and suggests checking the room temperature, it could be due to a few reasons. The ambient temperature might be too high, so try reducing it. Also, the freezer airflow may be blocked, or heated air from other equipment might be drawn into the freezer's air intake. Remove any airflow restrictions and ensure no other equipment is forcing hot air into the freezer intake. If the fan has failed, contact the NBS Service department.

  If the door of your NEW BRUNSWICK SCIENTIFIC Freezer won’t open, there might be a few reasons. First, check if the handle is locked and unlock it with the key. Another reason may be ice buildup. Use the manual air vent plunger to break the ice (see Section 5.1.4) and allow time for the vacuum to leak away. If these steps don’t work, call an NBS Service representative.

  If the NEW BRUNSWICK SCIENTIFIC Freezer reaches a critical condenser temperature, it will automatically shut down to prevent system damage. The thermal fuse will automatically reset after the system cools.
