Whenusingthemachine,someprecautionsareneces-
sary.
Starttheenginetakingintoaccountweatherconditions.
Regularlycheckthehourmeteronthesideinstrumentdis-
playtoensureservicingintervalsareobserved.
Ifyouusethemachineunderparticularlyseverecondi-
tions(dustyorcorrosiveatmosphere,etc.),theServicing
Intervalsshouldbereduced.
Makesurethattheoperator’sseatiscorrectlyadjusted
andpositioned.
Neveroperateanycontrolordrivingcomponentunless
youareseatedcorrectlyintheoperatorsseatwiththe
seatbeltadjustedandattachedcorrectly.
Avoidrunningtheengineinanenclosedspace.Ifneces-
sary,ensuregoodventilationunderallcircumstances.
Dust,smokeorfogcanreducevisibilityandcausean
accident.Stoporslowdownthemachineuntilnormal
visibilityisrestored.
Ifthereisanyoperatingproblem,immediatelylowerthe
loaderequipmenttotheground,engagetheparking
brakeandstoptheengine.
Findthecauseorinformresponsiblepersonsandtakethe
necessarymeasurestoforbidtheuseofthemachine.

Roadoperation

speedaccordingly.
Beforecarryingoutanyroadtravel,locktheattachments
andinstallthesafetysystemsrequiredbyregulations.
Themachinemustbewithinthemaximumdimensions
permittedontheroadinaccordancewithlocalroadtrafc
regulations.
Completelyraisethestabilizers.
Checkthatthelightingandsignallingsystemsoperate
correctly.
Checkthatthebrakesandsteeringoperatecorrectly.
Checktheconditionofthetiresandthetirepressure.
Neverleavetheoperator’scompartmentwhentheengine
isrunning.
Neverusethedifferentiallock.
Jobsiteoperation
Onjobsitesonthepublichighway,useregulationsignals,
takingintoaccounttheworkingrangeofthemachine.
Localregulationsdenethenumber,typeandlocationof
reectivestrips.
Bevigilant,beawareofplaceswhereotherpersonsare
workingclosetoyourworkingarea.
Keepotherpersonsawayfromthemachine.Serious
physicalinjurycanresultiftheseinstructionsarenotob-
served.
Adaptyourdrivingstyletosuittheconditionsofwork
(slopinggroundorroughground),thestateoftheroad
andweatherconditions.
Operateallcontrolsconsistentlysothemachineworks
smoothly.
Whentravellingatrightanglestotheslopekeepthe
loaderbucketatgroundlevel.
Whentravellinginthesamedirectionastheslope,move
ontotheslopeinlowgear(rstgear).Nevertraveldown-
hillwiththegearshiftleverinneutralposition.
Whenworkingonaslope,engagethefrontdriveaxle
(4WD)ifequipped.
Holes,obstacles,debrisandotherhazardsinthework-
ingareacancauseseriousphysicalinjury.Alwayswalk
aroundandidentifyallpossiblehazardsbeforeoperating
themachineinanewworkingarea.
Makesureyouknowthelocationofundergroundpipesor
cablesbeforebeginningwork.
Electricalcables,gaspipes,waterpipesorotherunder-
groundinstallationscancauseseriousphysicalinjury.
Donotworkclosetoliveoverheadelectriclineswith-
outrstmakingsurethattheminimumdistancesareob-
served:5m(16.4ft).
