Beforeundertakinganyroadtravel,thebackhoeattach-
mentmustbe“locked”intransportposition.Inordertodo
this,retractthedippercompletelyagainsttheboomand
thenfullyraisetheboomsothatthelockbarengageson
theboompins.
Backhoeattachmentcanbelockedmechanicallyorelec-
tricallyasshownbelow.
Mechanicallyoperatedcontrol
Tolocktheattachment,pulllever(1)backwardsandraise
theboomuntilthelockingsystem(2)engages.Release
thelever.
