Makesureyouknowthesafetyrulesandregulationsbe-
foretransportingthismachine.
Makesurethatthearticulatedvehicleandthemachine
arettedwiththecorrectsafetyequipment.
NOTICE:Duringmachineloadingandunloadingopera-
tions,thebrakepedalsmustbe“locked”together.
Loading
Placesomewedgesbehindthetrailerwheelsandplace
thetrailerenlargementramps(ifprovided).
Placethebackhoeattachmentintheroadtravelposition.
Raisetheloaderbucketabout20cm(7.9in)abovethe
ramps.
Placethegearshiftleverinrstgearandloadthemachine
carefullyontothetrailer.
Lowertheloaderattachmentsothatthebucketrestson
thebedofthetrailer.
Lowbackhoeattachmenttothebedofthetrailer.
Activatetheparkingbrakeandplacethedirectionoftravel
controlleverandgearshiftleverinneutralposition.
Stoptheengineandremovethestarterswitchkey.
Makesurethewindows,thedoors,thebatterycompart-
ment,thefueltankplugandtheengineguardareproperly
closedandlocked.
Turntherearviewmirrorsinwards.
Usechocksandchainstoimmobilizethemachineand
thebackhoeattachmentonthetrailer.
Measurethedistancebetweenthegroundandthehigh-
estpoint.Youmustknowthetotalheight.
NOTE:Afterafewmiles,checkthatthemachinehasnot
movedandthatthechainsarestillundertension.
Unloading
Removethechocksandtheretainingchains.
Raisetheloaderattachmenttobringthebucketafew
centimetresabovethebedofthetrailer.
Engagetheparkingbrakeswitchandplacethegearshift
leverinrstgear.
Slowlyreversethemachine,atthesametimeraising
theloaderattachmentsoastokeepitafewcentimetres
abovethebedofthetrailer.
Returntherearviewmirrorstotheircorrectposition.
