Performchecksandmaintenanceoperationsonlyafter
readingandlearningtheinstructionsandthewarnings
containedinthismanual.
ATTENTION:Thereisariskofseriousinjuryifmain-
tenanceorrepairsarenotperformedcorrectly.Ifyou
donotunderstandthemaintenanceprocedures,consult
yourDealer.
Makesureyouknowthepositionandfunctionofevery
control.Operatingthecontrolswronglycancauseserious
physicalinjury.
Anymodicationtothismachinewithoutpriorauthoriza-
tioncouldcauseseriousinjury.Donotmakeanymodi-
cationswithoutauthorization.ConsultyourDealer.
Carefullyobservethemaintenanceintervalsindicatedin
thismanual.
NOTICE:ifyouusethemachineunderparticularlyse-
vereconditions(dustyorcorrosiveatmosphere,etc.),the
maintenanceintervalsshouldbereduced.
Beforeperforminganyoperationonthemachine,wear
tightclothesandpersonalsafetydevicesappropriatefor
theoperationtobecarriedout:
•
safetyhelmet;
•
safetyshoes;
•
heavygloves;
•
reectiveclothing;
•
wetweatherclothing.
Iftheenvironmentconditionsmakeitnecessary,thefol-
lowingpersonalsafetyequipmentshouldbeathand:
•
respirators(ordustproofmasks);
•
earplugsoracousticearsprotections;
•
goggleswithlateralshieldormasksforeyesprotec-
tion.
Beforeperforminganymaintenanceoperation,waitfor
theengineandallhydraulicsystemsandcomponentsto
cooldown.
Cleanthegreasettingsbeforelubrication.
Beforellingoil,cleantheareaaroundplugsandnecks.
Carefullypreventthatdustordirtenterthehydraulicsys-
temsorcomponents.
