thefallofobjects(FOPS)accordingtothedirectivesISO
3449,SAEJ231protectionlevel2.AROPScanconsistof
thecabframeorofatwoorfouruprightsstructureusedfor
thesafetyoftheoperator,soastominimizethepossibility
ofsevereinjuries.Thestructureandthefasteningdevices
whichconstitutetheconnectionwiththemachinearepart
oftheROPS.
TheProtectiveStructureisaspecialsafetycomponentof
yourmachine.
DONOTattachanydevicetotheProtectiveStructurefor
pullingpurposes.DONOTdrillholestotheProtective
Structure.
TheProtectiveStructureandinterconnectingcomponents
areacertiedsystem.Anydamage,re,corrosionormod-
icationwillweakenthestructureandreduceyourprotec-
tion.Ifthisoccurs,theProtectiveStructureMUSTbere-
placedsothatitwillprovidethesameprotectionasanew
ProtectiveStructure.ContactyourdealerforProtective
Structureinspectionandreplacement.
Afteranaccident,re,tiporrollover,thefollowingMUST
beperformedbyaqualiedtechnicianbeforereturningthe
machinetoeldorjobsiteoperation.
TheProtectiveStructureMUSTbereplaced.
ThemountingorsuspensionfortheProtectiveStructure,
operatorseatandsuspension,seatbeltsandmounting
componentsandwiringwithintheoperator’sprotectivesys-
temMUSTbecarefullyinspectedfordamage.
AlldamagedpartsMUSTbereplaced.
