Movethemachinetoalevelandrmground.
Raisetheloaderattachmentandinstallthesafetysupport
strut.
Placethebackhoeattachmentintheroadtravelposition.
Placethedirection-of-travelleverandgearshiftleverin
neutralposition.
Immobilizethemachinebymeansoftheparkingbrake.
Stoptheengineandremovethestarterswitchkey.
Openandraisetheenginetilthood.

Placeacontainerwithsuitablecapacityunderthescreen
lter.
Cleantheareaaroundthecoverplate(2).
Loosenandremovethescrews(1).
Removethecoverplate(2),checktheconditionsofthe
O-ring(3)andreplaceit,ifnecessary.
Removethescreenlter(4).
Cleanthelterwithadetergentsolution.
NOTICE:followtheinstructionsforthedetergentsolution.
Carefullydrythescreenlter(4)withcompressedairand
reinstallit.
NOTICE:beforeusingcompressedair,takethenecessary
precautionstoprotectyourface.
Reassemblethecoverplate(2)andfastenitbymeansof
thescrews(1).Tightenthescrewstoatorqueof23N·m
(16.96lbft).

Removethedipstick(5)andtopuptheoilthroughthedip-
stickhole.Thenrestorethedipstick(5)intoplace.
Startingtheengine.
Checktheoillevelbymeansofthedipstickand,ifneces-
sary,addmoreoil.
Lowerandlocktheenginetilthood.
Removethesafetysupportstrutandlowertheloaderat-
tachment.
