missioninneutralandapplytheparkingbrake
beforeturningtheoperator'sseataroundto
thebackhoeposition.

Ensuretheseatislockedintoposition.
•
Knowwhichcontrolpatternisengagedbe-
foreactuatingthehydraulics(pilotcontrolma-
chinesonly).
•
Usecautionwhenswingingthebackhoecom-
pletelytothesidetopreventcontactwiththe
stabilizers.
•
Beforeleavingthevehicle:
•
Parkthevehicleonahard,levelsurface.
•
Putallcontrolsinneutralorparklockposition.
•
Engagetheparkingbrake;usewheelchocks
ifrequired.
•
Lowerallhydraulicequipment,attachments/
implementsortools,totheground.
•
Shutdowntheengineandremovethekey.
•
Inararecircumstancewhentheenginemustbe
runningwithoutanoperatorinthecab,takethese
precautions:

Reduceenginespeedtolowidle.
•
Disengagealldrivesystems.
•
Putthetransmissioninneutral.
•
Applytheparkingbrake.
