Batteryremovalandinstallation
Movethemachinetoalevelandrmground.
Lowertheloaderattachmenttotheground.
Placethebackhoeattachmentintheroadtravelposition.
Placethedirection-of-travelleverandgearshiftleverin
neutralposition.
Immobilizethemachinebymeansoftheparkingbrake.
Stoptheengineandremovethestarterswitchkey.
ATTENTION:Neverreversethebatteryterminals.Con-
nectthepositivecabletothepositiveterminal(+)andthe
negativecabletothenegativeterminal(-).
Whendisconnectingthebatterycables,alwaysdisconnect
thenegativecable(-)rst.
Whenreconnectingthebatterycables,alwaysconnectthe
negative(-)cablelast.
Nevershort-circuitthebatteryterminalswithmetalobjects.
Nevertouchthebatteryterminalswithyourhands.This
couldgenerateanelectrolysisinsidethehumanbodyand
damagethebody’svitalorgans.
PlacethebatteryswitchintheOFFposition.
NOTE:Waitatleast60secondsafterkeyoffbeforeturning
batteryswitchtotheoffposition.Thisallowsthemachine
controllerstoshutdownproperly.

Removethesupport(6)withoutdisconnectthebatteryca-
bles.
Removetheterminalcoversanddisconnectthecables,
rstfromthenegativeterminal(1)thenthepositiveterminal
(2).
Removethenutsandwashers(3),theclampingbar(4)and
thebrackets(5)andremovetheoldbattery.
Installthenewbattery.
Installthebrackets(5),theclampingbar(4)andthewash-
ersandnuts(3).
Cleanthecablesandtheconnectingterminalsandcoat
themwithgrease.
Connectthecables,rsttothepositiveterminal(2),then
thenegativeterminal(1)andinstalltheterminalcovers.
Reassemblethebatterymasterswitchsupport(6).
