“RETURNTODIG”SYSTEM
Returntodigisanelectricallyactivatedfeaturewhichen-
ablestheoperatortoautomaticallyreturnthebuckettoa
leveldiggingpositionforafurtherworkcyclewithonesim-
plemovementoftheloadercontrollever(3).
Wheneverthebucketisrolledforwardtodumpthereturn
todigelectricalcircuitiscompletedandthesolenoidonthe
bucketspoolisenergised.
Whentheloaderbucketcontrollever(3)ismoveddiago-
nallylefttothereturntodigposition(2)theelectromagnet
willholdthebucketspoolintherollbackpositionuntilthe
bucketisintheleveldiggingpositionatwhichtimethein-
dicatorontherodofthebucketself-levellinglinkagewill
passinfrontofthesensorwhichde-energisestheelectro-
magnetonthebucketspoolenablingthespooltoreturnto
theneutralposition.

Returntodigsensor-Adjustment
Thereturntodigsystemconsistsofanelectromagnet
mountedonthebucketspool,asensor(1)mountedon
topoftheloaderarmandapointerattachedtothetubeof
thebucketself-levellinglinkage.
Placethebucketonthegroundinthepreferreddigging
position.
Adjustthepositionofthesensorsuchthatwhenthebucket
isindiggingpositionandloaderarmsarelowered,half
50%ofthesensorfaceisobscuredbytheself-levelling
linkagepointer.
Ensurethefaceofthesensor(1)is3-6mm(0.12-0.24
in)fromthepointer(2)ontheself-levellinglinkage.
Asavisualaidfortheoperator,whileseatedinthecab,
thepointermountedontheloaderarmcanbeseento
alignwiththepointerontheself-levellinglinkage,whenthe
loaderarmsareloweredandthebucketisintheleveldig-
gingposition.
