4-OPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS

NOTICE:Iftheenginedoesnotstartwithin30s,allowthestartertocoolforoneminuteandthenbegintheprocedure
again.
1.Adjusttheseatandfastentheseatbelt.
2.PlacethedirectionalcontrolleverintheNEUTRALposition.
3.Turntheenginehandthrottletothelowidleposition.
4.TurnthekeyswitchtotheONpositionandwaitfortheenginepre-heatlamptoturnoff.
5.TurnthekeyswitchtotheSTARTpositiontoactuatethestartermotor.
6.Iftheenginestartsandstops,donotactuatethestartermotoragainuntilthestartermotorstopsturning.
7.Aftertheenginestarts:
A.Checktheinstrumentclustertomakesurethatthegaugeindicationsshownormaloperation.
B.Runtheengineat1000RPMuntilthecoolanttemperatureiswarm.
