Powershuttletransmission-Screenltercleaning
1.Movethemachinetoalevelandrmsurface.
2.Raisetheloaderattachmentandinstallthesafetysup-
portstrut.
3.Placethebackhoeattachmentintheroadtravelposi-
tion.
4.Placethedirection-of-travelleverandgearshiftleverin
theneutralposition.
5.Engagetheparkingbrake.
6.Stoptheengineandremovethestarterswitchkey.
7.Releaseanypossibleresidualpressurefromthehy-
draulicsystembymovingthecontrolleversinalldirec-
tions.
8.Unlock,openandraisetheenginehood.
9.Placeacontainerwithsuitablecapacityunderthe
screenlter.
10.Cleantheareaaroundthecoverplate(2).
11.Loosenandremovethescrews(1).
12.Removethecoverplate(2),checktheconditionsof
theO-ring(3)andreplaceit,ifnecessary.
13.Removethescreenlter(4).
14.Cleanthescreenlterwithadetergentsolution.
NOTICE:Followtheinstructionsforthedetergentsolution.

Flyingdebris!
Compressedaircanpropeldirt,rust,etc.into
theair.Weareyeandfaceprotectionwhen
usingcompressedair.
Failuretocomplycouldresultinminorormod-
erateinjury.

Carefullydrythescreenlter(4)withcompressedair
andreinstallit.
16.Reassemblethecoverplate(2)andfastenitbymeans
ofthescrews(1).Tightenthescrewstoatorqueof
23N·m(16.96lbft).

17.Removethedipstick(5)andtopuptheoilthroughthe
dipstickhole.Thenrestorethedipstick(5)intoplace.
18.Starttheengineandcheckforoilleaks.
19.Checktheoillevelbymeansofthedipstickandadd
additionaloilifnecessary.
20.Lowerandlocktheenginehood.
21.Removethesafetysupportstrutandlowertheloader
attachment.
