Thestarterswitchhasthefollowingpositions:
(1)OFF:engineshut–down.Theelectricalcircuitsare
notactivated.
(2)ON:contact,allthesystemsofthemachineoperate.
Thebuzzersoundsfor1s.
NOTICE:ifthisalarmdoesnotsound,theelectriccir-
cuitisabnormal.ContactyourNEWHOLLANDCON-
STRUCTIONdealerforinspectionandmaintenance.
(3)START :engineignition.
NOTE:iftheweathertemperatureisbelow10°C(50°F),
turnthestarterswitchtoONpositionandwaitthepreheat
pilotlampturnsoff.Thenstarttheenginebyturningthe
starterswitchtotheSTARTposition.
NOTE:thestarterkeyisalsousedtolockthecabdoor,
thesidehoods,andthestoragecompartment.

Washer/wiperswitch(cabversiononly)
Thewasher/wiperswitch(12)activatesthewiperandthe
washerintwosteps.
Firststep:wiperactivation.
Secondstep:washeractivation.Thewasherliquidis
sprayedandthewiperisoperativeonlywhiletheswitchis
pressed.Ifthewasher/wiperswitchisreleased,itreturns
torststep.
