2 – PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
AND INTENDED USE
LP1 and LP2 are metal mass detectors
which use a magnetic loop (loop detector)
and may be used for automatically open-
ing gates, doors, barrier gates, etc.
The model LP1 detector may be connect-
ed with a single loop and has one output,
while model LP2 may be connected with
two loops and has two outputs. The two
outputs may be independent (each loop
commands its own output) or they may be
combined to detect the vehicle’s direction
of movement (see point 3.3 for details).
Both models have an additional alarm out-
put, which is active during regular opera-
tion but is turned off in the event of a failure
or power failure.
3 – INSTALLATION
Warnings
• Disconnect the power supply to the
system before performing any instal-
lation operations; if the system is
equipped with a buffer battery, it
must be disconnected.
