Procedure to program or change user codes Presco Keypad PRE-series
To create a new Master/Management Code—locate the PAC1
Control box and push the Program Button. Red LED light will
appear on the box. “The system is now in program mode.
Write Down New or Existing Master/Management Code:
Any code number between 37 digits in length
(keep this code in a safe place)

Using the PRE keypad— Press * key — 9— E keyMaster codeE key
The key pad will make a warble sound of 5 beeps - if program is successful
Using the PRE keypad—Press # key — 9-9 E key This exits program mode”
The PAC1 Access controller stores 400 user code locations starting at 000399.
This guide assumes the electric door lock is set to momentary (1) operation.
A Typical User Location sequence: 000001002 etc..
To add a new User code; User location 000.
Using the PRE keypad— Enter Master Code— E key*key—0-0-0 -1E key— NEW CODEE key (warble)
To add another User code; User location 001
Using the PRE keypad— Enter Master Code— E key*key—0-0-1 -1E key— NEW CODEE key (warble)
Note: The Master code cannot be repeated or accepted as a standard user code.
A new code cannot be accepted if the user location is already populated with a existing user code.
To DELETE a User code; - Example Only
Using the PRE keypad— Enter Master CodeE key# key — 000 (User Location) E key (warble)
DELETING Multiple codesRepeat the above sequence
Factory default setting to DELETE all user codes
Locate the PAC1 Control box and push the Program Button. Red LED light will appear on the box.

Programming the Master Management Code

Write Down Master Code

Write down the new or existing master/management code, between 3-7 digits, and keep it in a safe place.

Enter Program Mode

Locate the PAC1 Control box, push the Program Button, and observe the red LED light indicating program mode.

Set Master Code

Using the PRE keypad, press * key, then 9, E key, enter Master Code, and E key.

Exit Program Mode

Using the PRE keypad, press # key, then 9-9, and E key to exit program mode.

Managing User Codes

User Location Sequence

Understand the typical user location sequence, e.g., 000, 001, 002, for storing up to 400 codes.

Add New User Code

Enter Master Code, E key, * key, user location (e.g., 000), 1, E key, NEW CODE, E key.

Delete User Code

Enter Master Code, E key, # key, user location (e.g., 000), E key to delete a single user code.

Delete Multiple Codes

Repeat the user code deletion sequence for each code you wish to remove.

Factory Default Reset

Initiate Factory Reset

Locate PAC1 Control box, push Program Button, red LED indicates program mode.

Execute Factory Reset

Using the PRE keypad, press # key, then 8-7-6-5, and E key to delete all user codes.
