A language-selection dialog isdisplayed the first time the camera isturned on.
1 Press the power switch to turn on the camera.
The power-on lamp (green) will light for a moment and
the monitor will turn on.

IfNo isselected,the date and time will not be set.
4 Press _ or i_ to selectyour home time zone
(city name) (C_ 88) and press ®.

To use the camera in an area where daylight saving time is in effect,
press • on the home time zone in Step 4 to set the daylight saving
time to on,
When the daylight saving time setting is selected, the % mark
appears on the top of the monitor, To release the daylig ht saving
time setting, press V,
