Viewing Multiple Pictures: Thumbnail Playback
Press t (j) in full-frame playback (c 28) to
display pictures in “contact sheets” of thumbnail
images. The following operations can be performed
while thumbnails are displayed.
k 9-picture Thumbnail Playback Mode Display
When protected pictures (c 101) are displayed
in 9-picture thumbnail playback mode, the icon
shown at right is displayed with them. Movies
are displayed as film frames. Icon is not displayed
with protected pictures in 16- or 25-picture
thumbnail playback modes.

Choose pictures
Use the rotary multi selector to choose
pictures.

When t (j) is pressed, display picture
thumbnails in the following order:
9 → 16 → 25
When v (k) is pressed, the number of
thumbnails changes reversely.

Cancel
thumbnail
playback
d
Press d to cancel thumbnail playback and
return to full-frame playback.

D-Lighting A
Press A to enhance brightness and contrast
in dark portions of pictures.

Switch to
shooting mode
i
Press i or the shutter-release button to
return to the last shooting mode selected.
