Basic Camera Setup: The Setup Menu
Welcome Screen
You can select the welcome screen to be displayed when the camera is turned on.
None (default setting)
Welcome screen is not displayed.
COOLPIX
Displays a welcome screen.
Select an image
Select a picture
in the internal memory or on the memory card for the welcome
screen. Choose a picture in the picture selection screen and tap OK.
As the selected image is stored in the camera, the image will appear in the welcome
screen even if the original picture is deleted.
Pictures taken at
an image mode setting (~ 116) of i18 16:9 (3584) or ~ 16:9
(1920), and copies created at a size of 320 x 240 or smaller using the crop (~ 57) or
small picture
(~63) function, cannot be used.
