Using Picture Bank
Uploading All Pictures at Once
The camera automatically uploads pictures that have not yet been uploaded to the my
Picturetown server whenever the AC adapter is connected to the camera. Charging
begins once pictures have been uploaded.
1 Connect the power cable and AC adapter 1.
2 Confirm that the camera and the monitor are off.
If the power-on lamp is lit, press the power switch to turn off the
camera. Picture upload cannot be initiated by connecting
the AC adapter when the camera is turned on.
3 Connect the AC adapter to the camera’s cable connector 2.
The multi connector should be fully inserted.
4 Plug the power cable into an outlet 3.
When the camera is turned on and the message, Starting upload to Picture Bank, is
displayed, Picture Bank begins uploading pictures.
If sender setting has not been configured, enter your Email ID (e-mail address) and Nickname
(alias) necessary for my Picturetown user information (A 11, 33).

D Modifying the Automatic Picture Bank Upload Setting
Choose On (default setting) or Off from the camera’s setup menu>Wireless settings (A 26)>
Picture Bank. If Off is selected, the battery begins charging immediately when the AC adapter is
connected, and pictures are not uploaded.

Uploading Selected Pictures
1 Press the e button in playback mode
and use the rotary multi selector to
choose
A, and press the k button.
If sender setting has not been configured, enter
your Email ID (e-mail address) and Nickname
(alias) necessary for my Picturetown user
information (A 11, 27, 33).
If the previous transfer was not successfully completed over a wireless LAN connection, see
“When the Transfer is Unsuccessful” (A 48) for more information.
2 Choose pictures.
Rotate the rotary multi selector, or press J or K, to highlight a
picture, and press H or I to select the desired picture (y).
Press H or I again to cancel a selection. Repeat this process to
choose multiple pictures.
Up to 30 pictures can be selected.
Press the g (i) button to switch to full-frame playback; press
the f (h) button to return to thumbnail display.
Press the k button to finalize picture selection.
3 Upload pictures.
Choose Yes and press the k button.
Choose No and press the k button to return to the screen
shown in step 2.

Connect to a wireless LAN and upload pictures.
