Step 3 Hold the Camera and Frame a Picture
3.1 Hold the camera steady in both hands.
• Keep fingers and other objects away from the lens, flash, AF-assist
illuminator, microphones, and speaker.
3.2 Frame the picture.
Using the Zoom
Move the zoom control.
• To zoom in closer to the subject, move the
zoom control toward g (telephoto).
• To zoom out and view a larger area, move
the zoom control toward f (wide-angle).
When you turn the camera on, the zoom
moves to the maximum wide-angle
position.
