activate

Extended Service Coverage ("ESC"),
you
must register
your
ESC

with
Nikon Inc.
within
ten
days
from
the
date
of
the
original retail purchase
of
this NIKKOR
lens.
Failure
to
register your
ESC
within
such
ten
day
period
invalidates your
ESC.

This

becomes valid upon
the
expiration
of
the Nikon
Inc.
Lens
One Year USA Limited Warranty
that
was included
with
your NIKKOR lens and
provides the coverage specified
below
for a period
of
four additional years for a total
of
5 years
of
protection.
During the period
of
your
ESC,
repairs resulting from defects
in
materials
or
workmanship will
be
performed at no-charge by Nikon Inc. subject
to
the following:
1.
ESC
applies
to
the original consumer purchaser only and
is
not
transferable or assignable.
2.
ESC
does
not
cover repairs resulting from
or
due
to
misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration
or
accident or
to
any product
that
has
had its serial number
altered or removed.
3.
ESC
does
not
cover repairs resulting directly
or
indirectly from the
use
of
unauthorized replacement parts, accessories and/or service performed
by
unauthorized personnel.

4.
Coverage dates will
be
determined by the date indicated on your bill
of
sale.

is
valid only in the Continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto
Rico
and the

Virgin Islands.

or

Segundo, CA repair facilities identified below.

is
valid only
for
the
NIKKOR
lens indicated on your bill
of
sale
and only when
that
product
is
purchased by a retail consumer from
an
authorized Nikon dealer
or reseller
who
purchased it from Nikon
Inc.
or from
an
authorized Nikon
U.S.
distributor
that
purchased it from Nikon Inc.
Such
NIKKOR
lenses
may
be
identified
by the Nikon
Inc.

liable

any
consequential, incidental, special,

damages

out
of

breach
of

ESC
or
any
claim regarding
the

but
not
limited
to,

of
negligence, strict
liability
or
breach
of
contrad.
