TROUBLESHOOTING
Trouble Possible Cause Remedy
The motors do not turn on.
The power supply cable (10) is faulty or
disconnected from the electrical mains.
Replace the cable or connect it.
Dirty water vacuuming is insuffi cient or there is no
vacuuming.
The recovery water tank (16) is full. Empty.
The vacuum grid (15) is clogged. Clean.
The vacuum hose (21) is disconnected from
the deck (9) or it is damaged.
Connect or replace.
The squeegees (12 - 13) are dirty or the
squeegee blades are worn or damaged.
Clean or replace the squeegees.
The gasket of the transparent cover (15) is
damaged.
Check and/or clean the seating surface or
replace the gasket.
The vacuum system motor is faulty. Replace. (*)
The solution fl ow is insuffi cient. The solution fi lter (25) is dirty. Clean.
The brushes do not turn.
The driving belt is loose or torn. Adjust or replace. (*)
The brush motor is faulty. Replace. (*)
The squeegee leaves marks on the fl oor.
There is debris under the squeegee blades
(12 - 13).
Remove the debris.
The squeegee blades (12 - 13) are worn,
chipped or torn.
Replace the blades.
This maintenance procedure must be performed by Nilfi sk Alto authorised Service Center.(*)

SCRAPPING
Have the machine scrapped by a qualifi ed scrapper.
Before scrapping the machine, remove and separate the following materials, which must be disposed of properly according to the
Law in force:
Brush –
Pad –
Electrical and electronic components (*) –
Refer to the nearest Nilfi sk Alto Center especially when scrapping electrical and electronic components.(*)
