Uses transponder technology with RED and BLUE chips to identify crypto/non-crypto transponders. BLUE chip for NATS 5.
Mounted near ignition switch or behind fascia. Controls ECM to inhibit starting. May have dongle unit.
Mounted in dashboard, indicates system status. LED shows faults when IGN is ON or accessory.
ECM received signal from IMMU indicating IMMU is malfunctioning.
Control unit is faulty.
Communication between ECM and IMMU.
IMMU receives Key ID, but verification with IMMU is incorrect.
