Tip: To send text via Bluetooth (instead of text messages), go to Notes, write the text, and select Options – Send
– via Bluetooth.
Total steps = 6. Click each step below.
Step 1: Press the Menu key.
The main menu appears.
Step 2: Press the Scroll key down 4 times then right 2 times to highlight Connect. then, press the Scroll
key center.
Bluetooth, Infrared, Modem appears with Bluetooth highlighted.
Step 3: With Bluetooth highlighted, press the Scroll key center.
Bluetooth, My phone’s visibility, My Bluetooth name appears with Bluetooth highlighted.
Step 4: With Bluetooth highlighted, press the Scroll key center.
Off changes to On.
Step 5: Scroll to highlight My phone’s visibility then press the Scroll key center.
Hidden changes to Shown to all.
Step 6: Press the right Selection key labeled Exit.
Bluetooth, Infrared, Modem appears with Bluetooth highlighted.
Bluetooth Settings
To modify Bluetooth settings, scroll to the desired setting you want to change and press .
Bluetooth – Select On if you want to use Bluetooth. If you set Bluetooth to Off all active Bluetooth connections are ended
and Bluetooth cannot be used for sending or receiving data.
My phone’s visibility – If you select Show to all, your phone can be found by other Bluetooth devices during device
search. If you select Hidden, your phone cannot be found by other devices during device search.
My Bluetooth name – Define a Bluetooth name for your phone. After you have set Bluetooth to be active and have
changed My phone’s visibility to All, this name can be seen by other Bluetooth device users.
Tip: When searching for devices, some Bluetooth devices may show only the unique Bluetooth address (device
addresses). To find out what the unique Bluetooth address of your phone is, enter the code *#2820# in standby mode.
