8.2.4 Reduced output current due to low voltage
The frequency inverters are thermally designed with regard to the rated output currents. For lower low
voltages larger currents cannot be used in order to keep the output power constant. For mains
voltages above 400 V the permissible output current is reduced inversely proportional to the mains
voltage in order to compensate for switching losses.

8.2.5 Reduced output current due to the heat sink temperature
The temperature of the heat sink in included in the calculation of the reduction of output current, so
that at low heat sink temperatures, a higher load capacity can be permitted, especially for higher pulse
frequencies. At high heat sink temperatures, the reduction is increased correspondingly. The ambient
temperature and the ventilation conditions for the device can therefore be optimally exploited.
8.3 Operation on the FI circuit breaker
For devices with an active mains filter (standard configuration for TN- / TT networks) leakage currents
of 16 mA are to be expected. These are designed for operation with leakage current circuit breakers
for the protection of persons.
For devices with an inactive mains filter (special configuration for TN networks) leakage currents
of 30 mA are to be expected. These are not suitable for operation with leakage current circuit
breakers for the protection of persons.
Only all-current sensitive FI circuit breakers (type B or B+) must be used.
