and program the desired speed and incline
settings.
A moment after the button is pressed, the walking
belt will begin to move, Hold the handrailsand
begin walking.
Refer to the program display. Each custom pro-
gram is divided intoone-minutesegments. One
speed settingand one inclinesettingcan be pro-
grammed for each segment. The speed settingfor
the firstsegment willbe shownin theflashing
Current Segment
column of the

settingand an inclinesetting for the firstsegment,
simply adjustthe speed and incline ofthe tread-
millas desired by pressingthe Speed and Incline
buttons.Everyfew times a Speed buttonis
pressed, an additionalindicatorwilllight or darken
in the CurrentSegment column.
When the first segment ofthe program is com-
pleted, a series oftones will soundand the current
speed settingand the currentinclinesettingwill
be saved in memory.The three co/umnsofindica-
torswi//then moveone co/utahto theleft, and the
speed settingforthe secondsegment willbe
shownin the flashing Current Segment column.
Program a speed setting and an Incline setting for
the second segment as described above.
Continue programming speed and incline settings
for as many segments as desired; custom pro-
grams can have up toforty segments.When you
are finishedwithyourworkout,pressthe Stop but-
ton twice.The speed and inclinesettingsthat you
programmedwillthen be saved in memory.
