PROBLEM: The walking belt slows when walked on
SOLUTION: a. Use onlya single-outlet surge suppressorthat meets all of the specifications described on page 8.
b. If the walking belt is overtightened,treadmill perfor-
mance may decrease and the walkingbelt may be-
comedamaged. Remove the key and UNPLUG THE
POWER CORD. Usingthe allen wrench, turn both
rear rolleradjustmentboltscounterclockwise,1/4 of a
turn. When the walking belt is properlytightened, you
shouldbe able tolift each sideof the walking belt 3 to
4 inchesoffthe walking platform.Be carefulto keep
the walking belt centered. Plug in the power cord, in-
sert the key and runthetreadmillfor a few minutes.
Repeat untilthe walking belt is properlytightened.

terclockwise1/2 of a turn. Be careful notto overtightenthe
walkingbelt. Plug inthe power cord,insertthe key and run
the treadmillfora few minutes.Repeat untilthe walking
belt iscentered.

PROBLEM: The incline of the treadmill does not change correctly or does not change when iFIT.com
CDs and videos are played
SOLUTION: a. With the key in the console, press one of the Incline buttons. While the incline is changing, re-
move the key. After a few seconds, re-insertthe key. The treadmillwillautomaticallyriseto the
maximum inclinelevel and then retumto the minimumlevel. Thiswillrecalibrate the incline.
