6. Set the handrail assembly face down on a soft
surface to avoid scratching the handrail
assembly.
Remove two 3/8" x 2" Bolts (3) and a Handrail
Bracket (85) from each side of the handrail as-
sembly. The Handrail Brackets will be used in
step 7 and the Bolts will be used in step 9.

5. Identify the Left and Right Base Covers (92, 93).
Slide the Left Base Cover onto the Left Upright
(89). Slide the Right Base Cover onto the Right
Upright (90). Do not press the Base Covers
into place yet.
