1. To make electrical
connections,
you
first must
connect the handgun
to
the hose. lf
you
have not
yet
done this,
follow the
procedure
Connecting the Handgun
to the Hose described
earlier.
2. Use a
3-mm
(1/a-in.)flat-blade
screw driver, and
loosen the two
screws from the
RTD terminal block as
shown in Figure 3-12.
lnsert
wires 3 and
5, extending from the
hose, into the terminal block.
3. Tighten the terminal-block
screws to O.42
N.m
(3.7
lbf-in.), taking
care not to overtighten.
4. Bemove the
ground
screw
from
the
pivot
sleeve.
WARNING: Electricalshock hazard
exists if hose
ground
wire
is
not secured tightly to the
gun
body.
5. Secure
the
ground
wire
to the
RTD side of the
pivot
sleeve.
Do
not
overtighten.
