3. If the pump is not set up to automatically start when the system is
Ready/OK, touch Pump > Pump Control to switch On the pump.
Refer to Table 5‐2 for the meaning of the button colors.
The system is ready for normal operation when:
 The System Status button indicates Ready/OK (green), meaning
that all enabled zones are at setpoint temperature and the Ready
Delay, if used, has elapsed.
 The Fill Status button indicates Ready
NOTES:
 When the pump is On, it attempts to pump even if the system
status is not Ready/OK. Nordson Corporation recommends not
starting the pump until the system status is Ready/OK.
 By default, the fill system and Smart Melt capability are
automatically enabled.
 To set up the pump to automatically start after all zones have
reached setpoint temperature, refer to Selecting the Auto Pump
Setting in Section 4, Setup.
