Calibrating the Level Sensor
Calibrate the level sensor when:
 The level sensor, level sensor cable, fill board, grid/hopper, or
reservoir is replaced
 The grid (or global) temperature setpoint is changed by more than
25C (50 F)
 The type of adhesive is changed
 Calibration is required as a result of troubleshooting activities
Before calibrating the level sensor, perform the following tasks as presented
in this procedure:
 Heat the system to operating temperature and disable the fill system
 Relieve system pressure
 Purge the system
 Make sure the adhesive hopper is empty
The procedure for calibrating the level sensor is the last task in this series.
To heat the system and disable the fill system
1. Heat the system to operating temperature. The system status must be
Ready/OK to calibrate the level sensor.
2. From the Home screen, touch Master Controls > Refill to disable the fill
system.
