Control Panel Programming
Q45: Lock Default Programming (0-2)

The Control Panel may be able to be hard reset (or so
reset from the Installer Toolbox) to its factory default values
depending on the value entered for this programming queson.
The Control Panel is hard reset by pressing and holding the
and
buons while applying power to the Control Panel.
The default lockout feature is provided to prevent takeovers.
Three opons are available: allow default of all opons, allow
default of some but not all opons, not allow default of any
opons.
The default seng of (0) Default All allows reseng the
Control Panel to all its factory defaults.
To allow reseng the Control Panel to all its factory
defaults except the Central Staon phone number, Central
Staon account number, lock installer programming,
download ID, and default lockout elds, select (1) Default
All Except CSID, Account/ Phone, Lockouts.
To deny hard and so reseng of the Control Panel, select
(2) Default None.
If opon 1 or 2 is selected, the opon takes eect aer the
system runs for 48 hours. This allows the installer to go back
and make changes if required.
Q46: Trouble Doesn’t Sound at Night (0-1)
DEFAULT: (1) Enabled
NOTE: For UL 985: Household Fire Warning System Units
installaons, this seng must be set to (0) Disabled
The Control Panel will sound trouble beeps caused by AC loss,
system low baery, sensor low baery or RF supervision, failure
to communicate, Control Panel tamper while disarmed, and cell
radio faults.
To prevent annoying the subscriber, the system can be set to
suppress trouble beeps from sounding from 10
PM to 9 AM. The
trouble alerts are sll displayed and immediately reported to
the Central Staon, and can be acknowledged, but they won’t
sound beeps unl aer 9
AM.
If the trouble condion(s) self-clear or are acknowledged
before 9
AM, no trouble beeps sound aer 9 AM (the condions
are sll recorded in the event log).
The default seng (1) Enabled suppresses trouble beeps
from 10
PM to 9 AM.
To allow trouble beeps at any me, select (0) Disabled.
Q47: Trouble Resound After Hold Off (0-7)
DEFAULT: (0) Disabled
Fire and CO sensors are required to re-sound trouble beeps
every four hours unl the trouble is resolved, even if the
trouble is acknowledged at the Control Panel. The Control
Panel can be set to delay re-sounding these types of trouble
beeps for 1-7 days.
NOTE: This feature is not allowed in UL 985 installaons. The
seng must be (0) Disabled in this grade of installaon.
The default seng (0) Disabled allows trouble beeps for
CO and re sensors to re-sound every four (4) hours aer
