Control Panel Programming
Q76: Force Bypass Reports (0-1)
DEFAULT: (0) Disabled
The system can report which sensors have been force bypassed by
the user when the system is armed. Forced bypassed sensors are
always recorded in the event log, regardless of the seng of this
programming queson.
The default seng (0) Disabled prevents reporng forced
bypassed sensors.
To report forced bypassed sensors, select (1) Enabled.
Q77: Event Log (0-3)
DEFAULT: (3) All Events
To control the amount of event log entries, the events that get
recorded into the system’s event log can be selected by type. This
seng lters the events that populate the event log.
The default seng (3) All Events records all events in the
event log.
To choose dierent opons, select one of these lters:
Q82: Z-Wave Door Locks Feature (0-1)
DEFAULT: (1) Enabled
Display of the Home Service’s Door Locks buon can be enabled or
disabled. This programming queson only funcons if the Z-Wave
feature enable queson Q79: Z‐ Wave Feature is set to (2) or (3).
The default seng (1) Enabled shows the Door Locks buon.
To hide the Door Locks buon, select (0) Disabled.
Q83: Select Temperature Display Units (0-1)
DEFAULT: (0) Degrees Fahrenheit
The Home Service’s Z-Wave thermostat display screens can show
the temperature in degrees Fahrenheit or degrees Celsius.
NOTE: This programming queson only funcons if Q79: Z- Wave
Feature is set to (2) or (3) and Q81: Z-Wave Thermostats Feature
is set to (1) Enabled.
The default seng is (0) Degrees Fahrenheit.
To change the seng, select (1) Celsius.
NOTE: The seng you select here also changes the display units
shown on the weather forecast on the Control Panel’s Home screen.
Q84: Services Require Master Code (0 to 1)
DEFAULT: (0) Disabled
The Services buon can be congured to require the use of the
master user code to access Services.
The default seng (0) Disabled overrides the requirement to
enter a master user code to access the Services menu.
To require the use of the master user code to access the Services
menu, select (1) Enabled.
When enabled then the master user code is required to access
the Services and the Z-Wave device conguraons. This keeps
unauthorized users from being able to change Z- Wave sengs,
such as temperature, lights and locks.
Q85: Master User Access to Z-Wave Toolbox
(0-1)
DEFAULT: (0) Disabled
The Z-Wave Toolbox menu can be set to require the use of the
master user code or the installer code. By default, the installer
code is required for users to access the Z-Wave Toolbox.
The default seng (0) Disabled requires users to enter the
installer code to access the Z-Wave Toolbox menu and all of
its features, including the Advanced Toolbox.
To require the use of the master user code or the installer
code to access the Z-Wave Toolbox menu, select (1) Enabled.
NOTE: When (1) Enabled, the Installer code will sll be required
to access the Advanced Toolbox menu. This prevents end users
from adding or removing Z-Wave devices.
Q86: Disable Siren After Two-Way Audio (0-1)
DEFAULT: (0) Disabled
This seng enhances system operaon in personal emergency
applicaons and also provides the dealer with the opon of the
siren sounding unl the bell cut o or to the end of a two-way-
voice session.
The default seng (0) Disabled will cause the siren to resume
aer two-way audio (if the bell cut o mer has not expired).
(1) Enabled will cause the siren to shut o aer a two-way
audio session.
Q80: Z-Wave Switches Feature (0 to 1)
DEFAULT: (1) Enabled
Display of the Home Service’s Switches buon can be enabled or
disabled.
NOTE: This programming queson only funcons if Q79: Z- Wave
Feature is set to (2) or (3).
The default seng (1) Enabled shows the Switches buon.
To hide the Switches buon, select (0) Disabled.
Q81: Z-Wave Thermostats Feature (0 to 1)
DEFAULT: (1) Enabled
Show or hide the Home Service’s Thermostats buon on the
Control Panel.
NOTE: This programming queson only funcons if Q79: Z- Wave
Feature is set to (2) or (3).
The default seng (1) Enabled shows the Thermostats buon.
To hide the Thermostats buon, select (0) Disabled.
Event Log Filters
(0) Disabled (no events logged)
(1) All Events Except Open, Closing, and Bypass
(2) All Events Except Open and Closing
(3) All Events
Q79: Z-Wave Feature (0-3)
DEFAULT: (3) (3) Enabled on Panel; Rules Disabled, Remote Access Enabled
The Z-Wave home services feature can be enabled or disabled with
various remote control access opons.
The default seng (3) Enabled on Panel; Rules Disabled,
Remote Access Enabled displays the Services buon, but will
show a message that the feature is currently disabled and the
user should call the installer.
To hide the Services buon, select (0) Disabled and Hidden.
To show the Services buon but disable it from use, select (1)
Disabled but Visible.
To show the Services buon and disable o- site remote
control, select (2) Enabled on Panel, Remote Access Disabled.
