Loosen screw (1) to disconnect clamping plate (2) and insert chain into guide bar.
Loosen lock screw (#6) and turn head to set grinding angle to 30 degrees.
Tip the stop (#3) and draw the tooth to be sharpened against the top of the grinding wheel.
Gently push grinding head (#4) down and adjust set screw (#5) for grinding wheel contact with tooth.
Fix the chain in place by tightening the locking screw (#6) to secure it for sharpening.
Sharpen chain links by pressing the wheel onto the chain; repeat for alternate links.
Turn the head (#7) to the required angle, typically 30 degrees, for the opposite side of the chain.
Proceed with sharpening remaining teeth on the opposite side without changing the setup.
Adjust sharpening angle (30-35°) and depth limiter space based on chain type for optimal cutting performance.
