11. Alarm and Warning
— 11-7 —
11.2.2.2. Warning
Reports an occurrence of abnormality that can be easily rectified.
When a warning is given the output WRN (Warning) closes if the shipping set of the output
logic is set to negative. The condition of the Motor depends on the type of warning. For a
warning that deactivates the Motor servo, the dynamic brake functions to stop the Motor.
A warning can be cleared by the input ACLR (alarm clear) or the command CL (Alarm clear)
after remedying the cause.
Table 11-6: Warning
*1: When the warning F5 (Program error) or the warning F8 (Auto tuning error) is given in the middle of
Motor operation, the Motor stops after the completion of current operation.
11.2.2.3. Over Travel Limit
Reports the condition on both software and hardware over travel limit.
If the shipping set of the port polarity is set to negative logic, the output OTPA or the output
OTPM closes when one of them is activated by the Motor. After this moment, the System
accepts only the command to move out the off limits area.
The alarm will be cleared when the Motor gets out of the off limits area.
Table 11-7: Over travel limit
*1: The warning can be cleared when the Motor gets out the area by a positioning command,
Jogging command or manual rotation of the Motor of which servo is deactivated.
