Rear Chain
Check
lubrication
and
up-and-down
movement
through
the
inspection
hole
of
the
chain
case.
After
loosening
the
two
front
and
the
three
rear
screws
the
chain
case
can
be
removed.
To
remove
the
chain itself
take
out
the
spring
and
.
undo
the
spring
link.
Wash
the
detached
chain
thor-
oughly
in
paraffin
or
petroil
with a
brush,
moving
each
link
to
and
fro
until all
dirt
has
been
dissolved
and
washed
out. Then rinse
the
cleaned
chain
once
more
in
paraffin
or.
petrol
and
dip
into
warmed
up chain
grease
moving it
to
and
fro.
Take
the
chain
out
when
half
cold
and
allow
surplus
grease
to
drain
off. The
spring
should
be
placed
on
the
spring
link with its
open
end
facing
away
from
the
direction
in
which-the
chain
travels.
