MAKING A CUT
Adjustthe parallel guidefence tothe desiredwidth from the
bladeusingthescalerulesonthetablesurfaceforreference.To
adjustloosenthetwosecuringknobs(Pic5)(oneateachend).
N.B.: The scale rules are for reference only. For improved
accuracyitis advised that asecondaryruleshouldbe used.
Position the tile firmly against the rip fence and pass through
thebladeinasmoothaction.Donotforcethetiletobecuttoo
quickly.
MAKING A MITRE CUT
Follow the same procedure for a straight cut but employ the
mitre guide in conjunction with parallel guide fence (Pic 6).
Ensure that the tile is held firmly into the guide before making
thecut.
CUTTING WITH THE TABLE AT AN ANGLE
Loosenthetwotablesecuringknobs(frontandrear).Tiltthe
tabletothedesiredangleusingthescaleonthetable(Pic7).
Re-securethetableandmakethecutasbefore.
CHANGING THE BLADE
Warning! Disconnect the power supply before making
adjustmentsormaintainingthemachine.Toremovetheblade,
remove the side cover by removing the two securing screws
(Pic8),
Holdtheendofthebladearborandremovetheblade-securing
nutwithsuitablewrenches(Pic9).Ensurethatthearborand
flangesarecleanandre-fitthebladeintheoppositemanner
toremoval.
MAINTENANCE
When all cutting has been completed andbefore storing the
machine,itisadvisabletothoroughlycleanthemachine.Empty
thewatertrayandcleanawayanytileslurry.Cleanthetilecutter
withacleandrycloth.Itisalsoadvisabletogivethetableand
surface of the machine a light coating of automobile type wax
polish.
