Installation Guidelines:
Note: Installing the sensor on metal can reduce its transmission range. Test the sensor from its desired
location prior to permanent installation.
• If using double sided tape for mounting sensor and magnet, thoroughly clean the surface to
ensure proper adhesion because dust and particles can reduce the adhesion of the tape
• Mount the rear cover housing on door frame using double sided tape or supplied screws
• Place the NCZ-3011 indoors and away from sources of water/moisture and extreme weather
conditions
• Mount the magnet on the door such that it is spaced no more than 2 cm from the sensor when the
door is closed. Use double sided tape or screws.
• Insert the coin cell battery into the front cover (see diagram), noting the correct polarity of the
battery
• Press the button once to join the network
• Snap in front cover to mounted rear cover.
