should now light up when you press the TEST button. The phasing of the device has now
been determined. Mark the connector side on which the LED
3
lit up with one of the red
colour rings supplied by pushing it over the pin for which you have determined the phase.
This means that the next time you connect your devices to a multiple outlet strip you will
know their phasing and can connect them all with the same phase.
Should the same LED
3
light up even after you have turned the plug through 180°, make
a connection with the enclosed earth cable between the PHASER
4
and the earth of the
device to be tested. The outside contact of a Cinch socket, for instance, makes a perfect
earthing point.
Then repeat the TEST procedure as described above and determine the phasing. Your
system can now be connected to a multiple outlet strip with the best results.
Environmental note
Batteries – even heavy metal-free batteries – must not be disposed of in household waste.
Exhausted batteries must be disposed of in the old battery bins in shops or at public dispo-
sal sites.
