Step 1 – Unit Disassembly, Part Replacement

Open the jam access cover. Remove
2 screws and take off the bracket.

Remove 1 clip and slide 2
bushings.
Be careful not to drop the
pin because it will come
off when the shaft is
pulled out.

Remove 4 screws and take off the
bypass upper guide.
Take off the paper feeder unit.
Remove 1 clip and pull out the shaft. Take off
the pickup roller and replace it.

Remove the clip, pull out the
shaft and take off the feed roller.
Replace the roller.
Remove 2 screws. Slide the
feeder upper
Make sure you
assemble the
pickup roller with
the one-way
clutch in the
correct direction.
Remove 2 screws and take off the
separation roller holder and
separation roller unit.
Remove 1 bushing and clip, and then
take off the separation roller.

with the one-way clutch in the correct
direction.
