C. Reinstallation procedure
NOTE
Do not let the toner cartridge stand
upright or keep it in that upright posi-
tion.
1. Shake the toner cartridge [1] a few
times to distribute the toner.
2. Remove the protective cover [1].

A. Periodically replaced parts/cycle
• Standard in-box toner cartridge (C, M, Y): Every 500 prints
• Standard in-box toner cartridge (K): Every 1,000 prints
• Standard-capacity toner cartridge (C,M,Y): Every 1,500 prints
• High-capacity toner cartridge (C,M,Y,K): Every 2,500 prints
B. Removal procedure
1. Check the color of the toner cartridge to be replaced on the control panel.
2. Select [PRINTER MODE] - [T/C CHANGE] - [REPLACE MODE] from the menu and
select the toner cartridge of the specific color of toner to be replaced.

3. Open the front cover [1] and make
sure that the specific toner cartridge
to be replaced is in the front.
4. Hold onto the handle [1] of the toner
cartridge, pull it and remove the
toner cartridge [2].
NOTE
• When all toner cartridges need to
be removed and replaced manually,
select [PRINTER MODE] - [T/C
CHANGE] - [EJECT MODE].
