Configuring the IP Address and Other
Settings on the Computer

If your computer already has an IP address and other
settings configured, or if an IP address is obtained
automatically, advance to "To Install the Printer Driver"
(P.40).

Turn on the computer and start up
Windows.

Click [Start], and then select [Control
panel] in [Windows System].

Click [View network status and tasks].

Click [Change adapter settings].

Click the icon showing the name of the
Network adapter.

On the “Ethernet Status” screen, click
[Properties].

Select [Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/
IPv4)], and then click [Properties].
