• Place control lever
in
"LO"
or
"HI"
for
continuous operation
at
the selected
speed.
• Return switch
to
"OFF"
to
stop wiper
operation and
to
"park"
the
wipers
in
the concealment recess.
• For a single wiping cycle, move lever
to
"MIST" position, hold until wipers
move
out
of
park position and begin
wiping,
then
release lever. Blades re-park
after one cycle. For
several cycles, hold
lever
in
"MIST"
as
long as necessary.
• Press "WASH"
button
(below wiper
lever) and release
to
activate
"LO"
wiper
speed and
to
direct a
quantity
of washer
fluid
to
the
windshield.
Move
wiper lever
to
"OFF"
after wash cycle
is
completed.
Operating Tips:
• Check washer fluid level regularly -
do
it frequently when the weather
is
bad.
•
Use
a fluid such as
GM
OPTIKLEEN
to
prevent freezing damage, and
to
provide
better cleaning.
•
Do
not
use radiator anti-freeze
in
windshield washer; it could cause paint
damage.
• In cold weather, warm
the
windshield
with defrosters before using washer
to
help prevent icing
that
may seriously
obscure vision.
PULSE
WIPER
SYSTEM
This new windshield wiper (optional
equipment) permits
the
driver
to
control
the wipe cycle from a sixteen second
maximum
delay interval up
to
the
regular ·
low
and high speeds on a standard wiper.
By
raising
the
sliding lever from
"OFF"
position, the variable wipe cycle will be
increased as
the
lever moves upward
to
the
"LO"
position. For maximum wiping
action, move
the
lever
to
"H I".
The
wipers
will automatically go
to
"park"
position
or
return
to
the
action for which
the
lever was
set after
completing
the
"WASH" cycle.
WASHER
flUID
LEVEL
INDICATOR
The "WASHER FLUID" light (optional
equipment)
is
located on
the
instrument
cluster
directly below
the
washer
button.
This indicator illuminates green during
wiper operation.
If
the
washer . fluid
reservoir
is
less
than
approximately
one-eighth full, it glows red. .
