3.5.9 - Checkingairowdirection
• Press key B9 on the remote control to activate/deactivate the continuous oscillation of the moving air
outletdeector(g.39-ref.1).
• When continuous oscillation is active, an additional press of the key B9allowstolockthedeectorsoas
toobtainthedesiredverticaldirectionfortheairow.
The moving deector position must never be forced manually.
3.5.10 - Checking fan speed
• The fan speed check occurs through key B5 (ontheremotecontrol).
• Pressing several times this key will cause speed to change according to the following sequence:
Low > Medium > High > Automatic.
• The higher the speed setting, the greater the output of the air conditioner but also the louder its operation.
• By setting the Automatic mode, the onboard microprocessor adjusts the automatic speed. The higher the
difference between the room temperature detected and the temperature set, the higher the speed.
• As the room temperature nears the setting, fan speed is reduced automatically.
• Indehumidicationmode,itisnotpossibletocontrolthespeedastheappliancecanonlyoperateexclu-
sively at low speed.
3.5.11 - SILENT key
• To activate this mode, press the B3 key on the remote control, the D6 symbol appears on the display.
• Activating the night function (SILENT) allows you to obtain multiple results:
- gradual increase in the set temperature during cooling mode
 -gradualdecreaseinthesettemperatureforheating(HPversionsonly)
- reduction of the sound level of the appliance
- savings on nightly electricity consumption
• To activate the night function, it is necessary to select the operating mode and the desired temperature

• Ideally, the activation of the night key should be done immediately before falling asleep.
• In cooling mode, the set temperature is maintained for an hour after activating the night key.
In the following two hours the setting is gradually increased, while the fan operation is set to low speed.
• After the second hour, the temperature setting and the fan setting are not further altered.
• In heating, the set temperature is maintained for an hour after activating the night key.
Over the next two hours, the setting is gradually lowered, while the fan operation is set to low speed.
• After the second hour, the temperature setting and the fan setting are not further altered.
