automatic
exposure
When
the
subject
is
illuminated
from
the
opposite
side
of
the
camera
(i.e.
backlight),
for
instance
the
subject
is
against
a
bright
window
or
there
is
a
sharp
contrast
between
the
subject
and
the
sur-
roundings,
or
a
theatrical
stage
spot_lighted
against
the
background
darkness,
etc., you
make
spot
light
measurement,
and
automatic
exposure
will
be
available.
The
Olympus
35Sp
is
the
only
EE
camera
that
can
make
spot
light
measurement.
Looking
through
the
viewfinder,
you
can
see
an
area
of
overlapping
images
in
the
central part.
This
area
is
the
spot
measurement
area.
Fix
the
subject
of
your
spot
measurement
in
this
area,
then
while
keeping
the
spot
reading
button
pressed,
release
the
shutter.
