1)
When
you
wish
to
select
a
combination
of
the
shutter
speed
with
the
F/stop
to determine
exposure,
or to
use
the
self-timer,
use
the
manual
system, instead
of
the
automatic.
For
this
purpose,
the
light
meter
in
the viewfinder
is
provided.
ln
manual
operation,
the
shutter
speed
is of
predom
inant
irnportance.
1)
Shutter
speed
must
be determined
f
irst
to
meet various factors
of
the
subject.
For
instance,
indoors
or
in dark
places,
a
proper
shutter
speed
will
be 1115
or
1/30 sec.,
while
outdoors
or
in bright
places,
11125
or 1l2SO
sec.
2)
With the
camera facing
to
the
subject, read
the
EV value
on
the
scale
through
the
viewf
inder.
3)
Turn the F/stop
ring
until
you
f
ind the
same
EV value
through
the
small window
of
the
shutter
speed ring.
This
is
allthat is required
for
correct
exposure.
