Crop a picture, and save the cropped picture as a new picture.
• Use <::11>to select a picture to be cropped and press [].
• Use the arrow pad and zoom lever to adjust the position and
size of the area-selection box, and press [].
This function allows you to save printing data (the number of prints and the date and time
information) with the pictures stored on the card.

OFF /ON
Protected pictures cannot be erased using [ERASE], [SEE
IMAGE] or [ALL ERASE], but they are all erased by formatting.
• Select the picture with _D', and protect it by selecting [ON]
with AV. You can protect several frames in succession.
When a picture is protected, I_q will be displayed on the
monitor.
_'q ........................................................................................................................ Rotating pictures
_11+90° / = 0° / _ -90° Pictures taken with the camera held vertically are displayed
horizontally. This function lets you turn such pictures so that
they are displayed vertically. New picture orientations are
saved even when the power is turned off.

Select a picture with _D, and select [_11+90o]/[_ 0o]/[_ _90 °] with AV to rotate pictures.
You can rotate several frames in succession.
