7.4 Setting the ID Overwrite Protection
You can activate the ID overwrite protection to warn you every time that you attempt
to overwrite an existing measurement in a file. You can enable this function at any
time.
When the ID overwrite protection is enabled, a message (see Figure 7-14 on page 129)
appears when you attempt to save data over existing thickness readings. Select YES to
replace the previous reading with the new one, or select NO to keep the original
value.

To set the ID overwrite protection
1. In the measurement screen, press [SET UP], and then highlight
MEASUREMENT.
2. In the MEASUREMENT submenu, select ID OVERWRITE PROT.
3. Set the ID OVERWRITE PROT to ON or OFF.
4. Press [MEAS] to return to the measurement screen.
7.5 ID Review Screen
You can review the data stored in the active file using the ID review screen. You toggle
the state of the ID review screen by pressing [ID#]. The ID review screen shows the
data for the active ID.
